The aim is that you learn to make proposals for a blueprint and an introductory process of instructional systems where e-Learning is incorporated, and for a plan to improve the present system. You are to acquire skills that are necessary for the design and management of instructional systems as a whole, such as needs analysis and systematization of materials and content, environmental factors analysis, finding of alternatives other than training, making of an operation plan, design of organizational process of change and resource management.

Evaluation method
To be evaluated based on an accumulation of points gained from the following assignments. In order to obtain credits, however, you are required to achieve the minimum passing score for all assignments.

Another condition for obtaining credits is that each group should submit progress reports (reports on study and work in each lesson) in all lessons.

[Assignment 1] Proposal of instructional systems improvement (case 1) and its assessment (Submitted by a group: 40 points)

Submit a proposal as a group, make an assessment and ask questions about other groups’ proposals, and answer the questions from others.

[Assignment 2] Proposal of new introduction for e-Learning (case 2) and its assessment (Submitted by a group: 40 points)

Submit a proposal as a group, make an assessment and ask questions about other groups’ proposals, and answer the questions from others.

[Assignment 3] Reflection paper (Submitted by individuals: 40 points: 20 points x 2)

Describe what you have learned through the two cases discussed in this class, differences, if any, between conclusions drawn by the group and your opinions, etc.
