Reflection paper I

To be uploaded as the assignment for Session 2.
Describe your current ideas about education (principles, philosophy, views, methods, etc.) before the course starts.

Summarize the following points, such as basic ideas about the teaching profession, explicit or implicit expectations, how you came to have those ideas and expectations, what you learned yourself, encounters with your mentors, and what kind of educational courses and programs you have taken part in so far.

Rererences are not required, but specify books and other materials, if any, that influenced your ideas.

Uploaded papers will be reviewed by participants for mutual comments. Both papers and mutual comments are subject to evaluation.

Evaluation criterion 1 (Technical): Be sure to submit the paper by the deadline and adhere to the format. Your paper should consist of well constructed paragraphs and be free from grammatical and spelling errors.

Evaluation criterion 2 (Content): Be sure to make the content satisfy the requirements, have assertions supported by data and information and make appropriate quotations from references.

Format
he paper must be no more than one side of A4 paper in size, regardless of the format. If possible, convert the file into a PDF file. Choose a title which properly represents the content.
Write the ID number and your name clearly.

Method of submission
Submit reflection paper I via the discussion board.
Start a new thread and attach the reflection paper file to your posting.

After submitting reflection paper I, be sure to browse other participants’ files that are already posted.


Mutual commenting (which corresponds to Task 2)


Format
Make your comments in a reply posted for each reflection paper on the discussion board.

Submission
You have to make a comment on at least one paper (preferably all the other papers). First, post a comment on a paper which nobody has yet commented on before moving on to other papers on which comments have already been made. If you have time, start a lively discussion by responding to the comments given to you.
