Block 3: Creating your research plan

In this block you will create a research plan that you would personally like to work on toward your master's degree. The idea can be based on the case examples of the related fields that you learned in Block 2, but would be tweaked slightly to create an original research plan. A draft submission and mutual comments are the tasks for Session 15. Please designate the names of three professors from whom you would like to have scores for your final submission. Naturally, you should choose instructors from whom you would actually like to receive guidance in your master's thesis. The actual assignment of your major professor and assisting faculty members will be decided separately and later time, but this is an opportunity for you to express your wish, which will be considered in the final assignment. So, when you create your research plan, you should aim to be told by your favorite professors that “This is interesting. I wouldn't mind offering guidance for this student.” Don't worry the plan you will propose here can be changed (or will be changed) while you will work with your professors in “Special Thesis II.” So, do your best to explain what you would like to do!
