Kiyoshi Nakabayashi

Born in 1958. Professor, Center of ICT and Distance Education, The Open University of Japan. Following research and development of parallel processing processors, character recognition systems, education support systems, etc. at Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Public Corporation, Kiyoshi Nakabayashi became engaged in e-learning services development and operation at NTT Resonant Inc. Research area: e-learning systems architecture, e-learning technology standardization, etc. Doctorate in human science. Board member of Japanese Society for Information and Systems in Education, and a vice-chairman of the editorial committee of the same society; visiting professor, Nagaoka University of Technology.
